Why Join Us?

We handle all the supplies and lessons—show up, prep your day, teach, and enjoy! If you’d like to bring your creative flair, you can propose lesson plan ideas for your camp class—it’s completely optional!
Certified teachers will receive a $500 stipend & student teachers will receive $300 stipend for the week while sharing their passion for art.
Make a meaningful impact on enthusiastic young artists eager to explore their creativity!

Expectations:

Deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons for grades K-3 or 4-6.
Create a fun, inclusive, and safe space for children to explore their creativity.
Collaborate with ArtsNBre Studios staff to ensure smooth camp operations.
Help with setup and cleanup of materials and classroom spaces.

Eligibility Requirements

Education & Background:
- Applicants must be:
  - Current students majoring in Art Education or Education in college, OR
  - Current classroom art teachers with experience teaching K-12 students.

Experience & Skills:
- Enthusiasm for teaching and fostering creativity in young learners.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Availability:
- Must commit to work the full duration of the camp week selected.
- Availability to teach during designated camp hours 8:30 am - 2:45 pm
  - Artists are in class from 9:00 am -2:30 pm

Background Check:
- If you are not a current teacher within the Texas Education Agency (TEA) system, applicants must agree to complete a current background check.
